A thermostatic mixing valve is a device which blends hot and cold water to provide your home with a reliable consistent hot water temperature. This is a great devise to ensure the safety of all shower, bath and tap outlets and prevent scalding. We highly recommend installing one in your home, especially if you have young children or the elderly using the hot water. Your hot water temperature should be delivered at no more than 48 °C. Contact us for a quick quote and installation to put your mind at ease.
A backflow prevention device is used to protect drinking water. It prevents the reverse flow of water from a potentially polluted source into the drinking water supply system. A backflow device may need to be installed when you have a water outlet in close proximity to pollutants (bidet, shower rails close to floors etc) grease traps or chemicals, an irrigation system, underground rainwater tank that has mains water backup, fire hose reels or hydrants or a commercial or industrial activity or machinery connected to the mains. If you have a backflow device on your property you will need to register it and have it inspected and maintained at least once a year by a qualified technician. Contact KPM Plumbing if you need one installed or maintained.
I am extremely satisfied with the services provided by KPM Plumbing. Based on my overall interactions with staff, they were honest, courteous, helpful, professional, and knowledgeable. More importantly, the work carried out at my property was done in the most efficient manner and the amount charged was very reasonable. Should the need arise, I will most definitely use KPM Plumbing again! I would like to thank Ben and Matt for their invaluable assistance!
We had previously used another (well known, large) plumbing company to investigate and repair a broken pipe at our home. They charged a fortune and stuffed up the job. We then engaged KPM Plumbing on the advice of a friend. We are so grateful to Kieran and his team. They fixed the obvious pipe break, and then conducted a hydrostatic test to check whether there were other breaks that needed to be addressed. The previous plumber never did this. Thanks to this thoroughness, a number of breaks were identified and repaired. The water leaking would have cost us a lot of money. Once all pipes were repaired, we were shocked by how low the bill was. It was a third of the cost of the previous plumber, who did nowhere near the same amount of repairs. Thanks Kieran and team.
As well as domestic work, we also do commercial and industrial plumbing.
